Managed creative content, production design and delivery for a rapidly growing audio tour company. As department head, hired and managed in house and freelance team of writers, composers and sound designers. Managed simultaneous productions in multiple languages and adult/children’s versions. Auditioned and directed voice talent, including celebrity narrators. Grew a 2-person team into a fully staffed department.    

 

Produced award-winning weekly environmental issues radio newsmagazine. Researched and scheduled weekly show content of hard news, features, interviews and call-in. Hired and supervised in-house staff and freelance team of journalists, commentators and radio producers.

 

Assisted producers and host of daily National Public Radio interview show devoted to popular culture and the arts. Logged live interviews, edited recorded version for broadcast. Edited and mixed arts and review segments for broadcast.

 

Reported local news and feature pieces for use within national Morning Edition broadcasts. Produced local spot news for NPR network broadcast.  Wrote and directed local news segments during national Morning Edition broadcasts.
